Grilling season is still going strong here and I love to experiment with not only dishes for the grill but tasty drinks to go along with them. Today I started with a bottle of Gold Peak SweetTea, a ready to drink tea on the grocery store shelves, and added a few fresh and bright flavors to kick off our cook out. This Lime Ginger Tea Mocktail paired perfectly with my Teriyaki Chicken and Brocolli made with Soy Vey Veri Veri Teriyaki Marinade.
Ginger Lime Tea Mocktail
For each glass you will need:
8 oz. Gold Peak SweetTea or Gold Peak Harvest Pear
1 tsp. fresh lime juice
1 slice fresh ginger
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. powdered ginger
Stir together sugar and powdered ginger, place in a shallow dish.
Dip the rim of your glass in water, while still wet dip it in the sugar/ginger mixture.
Fill glass with ice, careful not to disturb your sugar rim.
Cut a 1/8″ inch slice of fresh ginger, tap gently with a spoon to release juices. Drop ginger into glass.
Fill glass with Gold Peak Tea Sweet Tea.
Squeeze 1 tsp. or desired amount of lime into tea and stir gently.
Serve your tasty and refreshing Mocktail with this easy to toss together chicken and broccoli dish. All you have to do is toss fresh or frozen boneless chicken breasts and frozen broccoli in Soy Vey Veri Veri Teriyaki Marinade.
Place chicken on hot grill and saute broccoli in a pan on your grills side burner or on the stove.
Gold Peak Tea Sweet Tea is perfect for summer or fall evenings with your favorite grilling recipes. Enjoy the tea as it is or give my Lime Ginger Tea Mocktail a try.
