Homemade Biscuits and Gravy
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I absolutely love Homemade Biscuits and Gravy but I really don't make it as often as I would like to. Which is kind of odd because they are so simple to make and really delicious meal even for lunch or supper.
Today I have a Homemade Biscuits and Gravy recipe for you, the biscuits are actually my favorite Pillsbury Grands but the gravy is from scratch. Enjoy!
How to make Homemade Biscuits and Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 Can of Pillsbury Grands Rolls
- 1 Pound of Jimmy Dean Sausage
- 2 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
- 2 Cups Milk
- Salt and Pepper

Instructions
Step 1 - Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage until it is all broken up with a wooden spoon.
Step 2 - Cook the sausage until it is well browned and cooked through and transfer to a plate, leaving the grease from the sausage int he pan.
Step 3 - Sprinkle the flour in the pan and whisk for a minute
Step 4 - Continue whisking and add the milk slowly bringing to a boil
Step 5 - Reduce the heat and simmer for about 2 minutes, add the salt and pepper to taste
Step 6 - Stir in the sausage and serve immediately over the warm biscuits.
These Biscuits and Gravy and simple to make and the leftovers warm up nicely and make a delicious lunch! I was worried that my boys wouldn't like this meal because they don't like anything called "Gravy" but they actually made there's into sandwiches and loved them.
