Maple Syrup Instant Pot Oatmeal Recipe

April 16, 2018   |   Leave a Comment

Delicious creamy Maple Syrup Instant Pot Oatmeal Recipe, this will be your FAVORITE breakfast to make each morning! Loaded with apples, raisins and maple syrup, this recipe is packed with flavor and protein to get your day started right!

Maple Syrup Instant Pot Oatmeal Recipe

There’s just something about oatmeal that’s so warm and cozy. It’s the perfect breakfast in my opinion because you can add granola, fruit, syrup, or really just about anything on top.

I used to think it was just me that liked to make a piece of buttery toast and then scoop my oatmeal out of the bowl with the toast! While I was on my Disney Cruise with my Sister-In-Law and nephew, I found out my brother does it too! We must have learned it from my parents! That is my absolute favorite way to eat oatmeal! If I order it in a restaurant, I always ask for a side of toast!

This Instant Pot recipe turns my favorite breakfast into an even easier option! It’s ready to go in the morning! Make sure you scroll down to read how to set your Instant Pot timer so it will start cooking right before you get up!

Raisin, Apple and Maple Syrup Instant Pot Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 4 cups almond milk
  • Optional mix-ins: maple syrup, apples, raisins

Directions

Spray bottom and sides of the inner pot with nonstick cooking spray. Alternatively, add 1 cup of water to the pot and put ingredients in a casserole dish that will fit on top of the trivet.

Mix together quick oats and almond milk.

Turn pressure valve to pressure setting and select a manual cooking time of 5 minutes. Once cooking time has elapsed, do a quick release.

Add mix-ins to the oatmeal and serve.

Makes 4-6 servings.

If you’re clean eating you can use a Gluten Free Oatmeal in this recipe and honey to sweeten! We make it this way a lot and love it!

To set the delay timer on most Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cookers:

  1. Press “Manual” or “Pressure Cook” button
  2. Adjust the cooking time with “+” & “-” buttons
  3. Press “Delay Start” or “Timer” button
  4. Set the delay cooking time with “+” & “-” button
