Italian Sausage Casserole

This post brought to you by Klement’s Sausage Company. The content and opinions expressed below are that of The Taylor House.

When it comes to favorite recipes, my family has a couple family tradition’s that we make over and over again.  Of course my son says that his favorite is anything with Pasta and Sausage so I make this Italian Sausage Casserole that my Mom used to make at least a couple times a month. How can you go wrong with these ingredients?

Sometimes making these traditional recipes just makes you feel good inside and there’s a bit of peace that comes with it.  It makes you think of being at home with family and loved ones from years past.  This is true comfort food at it’s best because it just makes you feel good.

What I love about this Italian Sausage Casserole is that it can be made from scratch by making your own homemade Alfredo sauce or you can make it quick by grabbing a jar of Alfredo and some precooked Klements Sausage – turning this into a 30 minute meal that your family will ask for again and again.

Klement’s Cooked and Smoked Sausage are created from old world European recipes that have been passed down for generations using only the finest ingredients and comes in a variety of different flavors.

That makes it easy to change up this casserole by the type of sausage that we include, it could be Italian or if we have a couple Bratwurst left I use those.

I love to use Klement’s because of the fact that it’s been around for generations – it’s like this Italian Sausage Casserole that’s been in our family for years.  You just stick with the good stuff!

How to Make Italian Sausage Casserole

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Package of Klement’s Italian Sausage
  • 4 Cups Cooked Pasta, you can use any that you have on hand
  • 1 Jar of Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Chives

Instructions Cook your Pasta according to the instructions. Cut 2 Klement’s Italian Sausage into chunks. In a large baking dish, mix together the pasta, Alfredo Sauce, Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese. Bake at 350 Degrees for 20 minutes. Add the Parmesan Cheese and chives on top and enjoy!

Klement’s Snack Sticks are for busy people who care about the food they eat and share. They are the convenient high protein choice that fits on the go lifestyles. We took a bunch on vacation with us last week and within a couple days they were gone!

My boys would grab one as they were headed out the door to go fishing or in the car on our road trip.  They were so handy to have as a snack. They’ve even been planning how they will be taking them to school as a snack or in their lunch too.

Klement’s Sausage Company story began 60 years ago when three brothers- John, George and Ron Klement purchased a small sausage company in South Milwaukee. Word about the genuine, old country flavor spread quickly and before long, Klement’s was a family favorite!

They’ve grown a lot since that small 6-person operation, but haven’t lost sight of what made their family business a success. Hard work, dedication, and perfectly seasoned sausage – the perfect recipe for success!

Make sure to give the Klement’s Snack Stick a try on September 23 which is National Snack Stick Day!  Grab a few to share with your family and friends!

So, I live in Texas, where we don’t have that brand of sausage. Can you add the amount of sausage to the recipe, as brands & packages differ. Thanks!
