Are you guys ready for another easy and delicious casserole recipe? If this is your first visit and you haven’t heard about our Pantry Challenge, stop over and check out the other posts we have to catch up on everything. I’ve teamed up with a bunch of awesome bloggers this month to tackle some of our biggest challenges. Mine is spending money on groceries and not using what I have in the pantry at home.
I will think up a recipe to try or a new creation to make and I’m off to the store for the ingredients and I should be looking at what I have on hand and creating a recipe with those ingredients. This is where the challenge comes in, I’m only spending $100 this month on groceries and using things we have at home. It’s a little scary but so far it’s been going ok.
Today I have an easy Mexican Mac & Cheese Casserole that uses only 4 ingredients and is so easy to make, I hope you enjoy!
How to make Mexican Mac & Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 Family Size Box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
- 1 Jar of Salsa
- 1 Package of Taco Seasoning
- 1 Cup of Shredded Cheese
Instructions
Step 1 – Cook the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese according to package instructions
Step 2 – Mix together the Kraft Mac & Cheese, Salsa and taco seasoning in the pot you cooking the Kraft in until it is well mixed together
Step 3 – Pour it all into a casserole Dish and top with the shredded Cheese
Step 4 – Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
This was a deliciously cheesy casserole that my kids loved too, it had a little bit of a taco kick to it. There are a few different ways that I can see making if you would like to, adding things like tomatoes, lettuce and sour cream on top would be amazing too.
If you’re trying to find a new way to put a twist on an old family favorite, this is just the recipe! Give it a try!
