Mini S’more Bites

July 25, 2012   |   19 Comments

Mini S’more Bites
Do you love S’mores in the summer or anytime?
It is one of our favorite treats and I am always looking for ways to make different versions of S’more desserts and goodies.
This one is so easy, it literally takes minutes and you have a gooey chocolate treat!  I found this recipe idea over at THIS site.

You need three ingredients:
Graham Crackers
Mini Marshmallows
Chocolate chips or Mini Reese’s
{S’mores are awesome with Peanut Butter!}

These Honey Maid Lil’ Squares are the perfect bite size!

All you need to do is turn your stove onto broil.
Lay your little grahams out on a cookie sheet and top with a mini marshmallow.  Pop them in the oven to broil for about 30 seconds or until the marshmallow starts to get a little brown and “toasted”.  As soon as you pull them out push your little chocolate chip into the center of the mallow.
These went over so well with my kids so we have made them a few times!  Such a great option when you can’t get out to roast your marshmallows over a camp fire. Plus, they are bite sized, so they are much less messy!
Enjoy!

    If you put them back in the oven for 30 more seconds after adding the chocolate, the marshmallow kind of puffs up around the chocolate. Holds it on there which helps if you are traveling with them!

    I love these! I like that you can just pop them into your mouth, and not have to worry about the marshmallows and chocolate getting on your face! LOL! 😀 Pinning! 😀
