Hummus seems to be all the rage right now. I have so many friends who just love this stuff and I can take it or leave it. I thought maybe if I made my own, to my taste preference it would be better. Like so many things, homemade really is better. My hubby and I ate this as a snack one evening and really liked it.
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with garlic seems to be my favorite so far and I cannot believe how stinkin easy it was to make! I had no idea! If you have a food processor, you’re golden. This ends up taking about five minutes to make and you’re done! Love that!
How to make Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Garlic
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Can of Garbanzo Beans, Drained
- 2 Whole Roasted Red Peppers
- 2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 4 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a food processor together and blend until it’s smooth. Enjoy with Pita chips or fresh veggies.
That’s it! How much easier can a recipe get? I guess this hummus stuff is pretty good for you, so I think I’m going to be trying different flavor combinations to see what else I like.
