Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders

March 14, 2017   |   Leave a Comment

Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders that your family will want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! These are a great option for busy mornings or pull out your Freezer Breakfast Sandwiches!

Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders

If you’ve ever had Ham and Cheese Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls, you are going to love these breakfast sliders too! They’re similar to that recipe but we made a breakfast version that I think is even better! Probably because I love anything and everything with eggs!

I actually made these little sandwiches while my boys were home from school on a snow day. We had a late morning brunch and I thought these would be fun, quick and super easy. They were just that! Within minutes the entire batch was devoured and my oldest was asking for another round. Check out the recipe below!

Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders

How to Make Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Package of Hawaiian Rolls (I used 8 rolls)
  • Frozen Sausage patties
  • 5 Eggs
  • 2 TBSP Milk
  • 4 Pieces Sliced Cheese
  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • 1 TBSP Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Mustard

Instructions

Start with your Hawaiian Rolls, cut them in half.  You’ll need eight rolls for this recipe. Place the rolls in an 8×8 cake pan, I sprayed the bottom lightly with nonstick spray.

Place half a slice of cheese on each bun and next a sausage patty.

Next mix your eggs and milk together in a small bowl before scrambling in a medium pan over medium heat.

Add the scrambled eggs on top of the sausage, I used a large cookie scoop.

Place the top of the bun on each slider.

Melt the butter and mix in the brown sugar and mustard. Pour a small amount over each sandwich.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the sausage is fully cooked and the cheese is melty and gooey.

Notes: These could be made with ham, bacon or sausage. If you want to try a different topping I think using a maple syrup would be delicious too!

Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders

Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Sliders make a great little brunch sandwich for parties too! I think it would be delicious with a side of Strawberry Sweet Rolls!
