S’more Bars

February 1, 2012   |   13 Comments

I think I have an addiction to S’mores!  I keep finding these recipes and am forced to try them because they look amazing!
This recipe uses Golden Grahams!!  Duh!  This is genius!!  How did I not think of it before?!

S'more Bars recipe
Place chocolate chips in the freezer, and chill well.
Butter a 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Melt five cups of marshmallows and butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally.
Once the marshmallows have melted remove pot from stove.
Add in cereal and mix well.
Add in your remaining 1 cup of marshmallows and chocolate bar pieces. Smash mixture into buttered baking pan, and place pan in the refrigerator. Once these have cooled serve.
These are so good!

INGREDIENTS:

10 ounces miniature marshmallows
6 single serving size chocolate bars
5 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 cups Golden Graham cereal

Sharing is caring!

Okay, can I just tell you how yummy those look. I will definitely be trying them. I love the tip about putting the chocolate chips in the freezer. I love it if you'd share this at my very first link party.

I've made something similar with crushed graham-crackers. I'll have to try Golden Grahams next time! Looks great!

I made the smore cups, not so good…the graham and I were not friends. Then Jack ate them. Maybe these will go better and I do have Golden Grahams

I have a bit of a s'more thing too 🙂 I even made a s'more cake that I think I should avoid having in the house in the future.

Thanks so much for coming and sharing at Pin'Inspiration Thursday! Hope to see you on Saturday to “Beat the Winter Blues”.

I'm visiting from “The Shabby Creek Cottage.” I just posted a S'More Bar made with Rolos on my website http://www.meaningfulmama.com (under recipes). Maybe if we combined our two we'd have the perfect combo. Looks good.
