Summer Wine Sparkler
The heart of summer is here! Our days are full of work but the evening hours bring time to relax outside on the patio, weekends are spent around the campfire and generally enjoying every minute of the sunshine. There’s just something about the summer that makes you want to have friends over to BBQ or have a quick drink together out in the yard – right? These are my favorite months of the year; life is a little sweeter in the summer.
I love to create recipes for friends and family and that also includes cocktails. Our friends love it when I make MirassouMoscato Spritzer. It’s one of my favorite drinks as well as almost everyone that comes over.
This summer I wanted to make a version that would be fun for the 4th of July, Labor Day or really just about any summer gathering. We created a Summer Wine Sparkler that is full of delicious fruits and of course one of my favorite wines, Mirassou Moscato. I love that Mirassou Moscato features sweet notes of fruit and the crispness makes it the perfect addition to this tasty wine cocktail.
I’ve worked with Mirassou for several years now and it’s really hard to even call it work. When you truly love a product and brand, it’s hard to not have fun with what you’re doing. Creating recipes using Mirassou wine is something I look forward to doing, as it allows me to find new ways to make cocktails and drinks using fabulous wines.
I know you’ll love this recipe as much as all the others we’ve made! It’s a light and refreshing splash of summer in your glass.
If you’re looking for an easy and very summery drink to make your friends and family – this is it! It’s perfect for those red, white and blue holidays too. This Summer Wine Sparkler pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken or even burgers off the grill too! You really can’t go wrong serving a drink like this.
