It’s getting to that part of the winter that we’re getting tired of soup and casseroles so we’re trying to find new and delicious recipes to try instead of those heavy meals.
The other night I was making taco’s for my boys for dinner and realized that I had NO Taco shells, Doritos, or tortillas at home to put the fixings in. I know, very poor planning on my part but the outcome was a delicious Taco Lettuce Wrap that my kiddos ate up!
Yum! What a great idea to use romaine! So doing this for our next family taco night 🙂
What a great idea. I’m trying to get ready for swimsuit season. This looks like a great carb-free meal. 🙂
OH! I need to do that too, swimsuit season is about here! I hope you like the recipe!
Your Taco Lettuce Wraps look delicious. I too have made something similar but added a Creamy Mexican Dressing. I also enjoy Asian style turkey lettuce wraps. I love the fresh ingredients like cilantro, mint, ginger and garlic. My favorite invention was Turkey Picadillo Lettuce Wraps. They are sweet and savory with things like olives, tomatoes, vinegar, adobo, raisins, onions and garlic. Can you tell I love lettuce wraps? Found you on Pinterest, love your blog. So happy to be visiting.
