Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

June 5, 2017   |   Leave a Comment

Sweet summer days are just around the corner, and that means we’re getting ready for some outdoor entertaining and time with friends!

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

Hosting BBQs on our back deck are often some of the best times of the summer. Delicious food and refreshing drinks make it a time everyone loves. I’ve created several simple recipes and cocktails that I use at our get-togethers, like this easy peasy Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea. It’s going to be your new go-to cocktail this year!

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

This recipe is pretty amazing because it has the flavors of my two favorite summer drinks – Lemonade and Iced Tea. They’re both such refreshing drinks that I always have them on hand during the hot months in Iowa. My life just got so much easier though! Florida’s Natural® Brand has introduced a new Lemonade Iced Tea that I can pick up at the grocery store and not have to make it myself.

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

I know, you’re skeptical because how could it be as delicious as homemade? Here’s the thing though – it really is! I can always taste the difference between a real homemade lemonade and one that’s from a carton and I cannot with this! Florida’s Natural not-from-concentrate lemonades are made with natural ingredients like real cane sugar and juices grown and sourced in the United States, which is why they taste so fresh and lemony. It’s the only lemonade I buy!

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

Making homemade lemonade hasn’t always worked out for me so I’m glad to have Florida’s Natural in my back pocket to use! I remember making lemonade for my brother’s rehearsal dinner party. We were in Colorado with family at a beautiful cabin and I was put in charge of drinks. I have always made homemade lemonade and didn’t really worry about it too much. I started just going to town and adding the lemon juice to the pitcher, I was making a large batch and pretty soon lost count but figured more is better. That was sadly NOT the case, it was barely drinkable because it was so sour! Of course, we didn’t realize until almost everyone had a glass!  An embarrassing mistake that will never happen again because I’ll use Florida’s Natural instead!!

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

Let’s get to the recipe!

Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea

Ingredients

1 container of Florida’s Natural® Brand Lemonade Iced Tea

1 Cup Vodka (you can add more or less depending on how strong you want it to be)

Directions

Mix Lemonade Iced Tea and Vodka together in a pitcher with ice and pour into individual glasses. Garnish with slices of lemon or whole strawberries.

Serves 10-12.

As if you need another reason to enjoy the refreshing flavors of Florida’s Natural Lemonade, but here’s a big one that I think is super cool! Florida’s Natural Lemonades provide funds to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research.  Florida’s Natural donates ALL of their profits from sales of the lemonade to the Foundation!

That means that while you’re enjoying your favorite drink, you’re helping kids that need help too!

Happy Summer!  We hope you love this Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea as much as we do!
