Delicious BBQ Ranch Chicken Bake that’s full of cheesy bacon goodness! Only a handful of ingredients and you’ll have a dinner dish that your family will ask for again and again!
I’m thrilled to introduce you to this amazing BBQ sauce from Head Country! We’re excited to work with them this summer on this sponsored post, but remember, all opinion are my own!
When it comes to summertime and food, I think of BBQ chicken, ice cream and fresh veggies from the garden. In about that order! 🙂 Over the last couple weeks, Iowa has been HOT! Like our back deck feels like I walked out on the face of the sun. It’s been too hot to grill outside, crazy right? But I’ve been craving that BBQ chicken so I decided to make my own INSIDE by making a BBQ Ranch Chicken Bake – plus I added bacon!
When I heard about Head Country, I immediately wanted to try out their different sauces because they have been around since 1947. That means they’re pretty much the BBQ sauce expert if you ask me! Their Moto:
Good Bar-B-Q brings a meal together. But great Bar-B-Q? Well, that brings people together.
It all started with a sauce. Simple concept… one that’s earned us a place at the dinner table for generations. Not too tangy. Not too sweet. Nothing fancy about it, really. Just a bold, rich, perfectly balanced blend of sweet and savory (with a hint of heat) born in the heartland from the finest Bar-B-Q traditions. Folks say it tastes like home.
A sauce that tastes like home? That’s what it’s all about! To find where you can purchase Head Country sauces, use the store locator HERE. I am able to purchase mine at Walmart (and I’m in a very rural area of Iowa so you should be able to get it too!)
How to Make BBQ Ranch Chicken Back with Bacon
Ingredients You Need
- 3-4 Chicken Breasts
- 1 1/2 Cup Head Country Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Ranch Dressing
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheese (I used Colby Jack)
- 1/2 Diced Onions
- 4 Pieces Bacon, crumbled
Instructions
Start by placing the chicken breasts in a baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Next, sprinkle the diced onions and crumbled bacon over the chicken breasts. Mix together the Head Country BBQ sauce and ranch dressing before pouring it over the chicken breasts. Top with shredded cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
This recipe can easily be made in your slow cooker too! That way you can put your ingredients in first thing in the morning and have dinner ready to go after work!
This is perfect with a side of sweet corn, fresh green beans or anything delicious from your garden this summer!
