This homemade cashew milk is smooth, creamy, and incredibly simple to make! With just soaked cashews, water, and optional flavor add-ins like vanilla or honey, you can make a fresh, dairy-free milk in minutes. Perfect for those looking for a dairy-free alternative that’s free from additives and full of flavor. Great for sipping, pouring, or blending into your favorite recipes.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
All you need is cashews, water, vanilla, honey, and a pinch of salt! The honey can also be substituted for your favorite sweeteners, such as dates, maple syrup, or sugar-free alternatives. Additionally, you can make this recipe with just cashews and water if you prefer it plain and unsweetened.
Equipment You’ll Need:
A high-speed blender, a strainer, and a mixing bowl. I used the Vitamix blender for this recipe.
How To Make Cashew Milk:
Soak the cashews in a bowl of water for about 6 hours (or overnight in the fridge). Once the cashews are done soaking, strain them, and add them to your blender. Add about 7 cups of water to your blender, with the vanilla, honey, and salt, and blend!
Storage:
Store in the fridge for 3-5 days.
