I think if you took a survey of young kids on what there favorite food was, you would find Chicken Nuggets to be one of the top couple choices. Chicken nuggets are often on a parents shopping list and found in many homes freezers as one of the "go to foods".
Have you ever thought of using some of the foods that your kids love and turning them into a new and delicious recipe? We know that chicken nuggets are yummy on their own, but they also have so many possibilities for new and create dishes.
On my last trip out to Walmart, I grabbed a bag on Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore-Ida French Fries, Heinz Ketchup and a new game! Everything that I needed to put together a fun game night.
The Dino Fun Nuggets looked like something my boys would love and we would heat them up and send them for school lunch in there thermos as well.
I thought having a fun family game night after an awesome first week of school was in order.
Of course, my boys thought the Tyson Dino Nuggets were pretty cool and wanted to eat them plain. For my hubby and I, I created a new Taco recipe using the ingredients that I had picked up.
Ingredients:
12 Tyson Chicken Nuggets
Taco Seasoning
4 Flour Tortillas
Diced Tomato
Shredded Letuce
Diced Red Onion
Cheese
Directions:
Place Chicken Nuggets on a baking pan and sprinkle with taco seasoning.
Follow package for baking directions.
Remove Chicken Nuggets from oven and slice into bite size pieces.
Place all ingredients on the flour tortilla.
I like to top my taco with ranch dressing and taco sauce.
These tasted really yummy!
What recipes have you come up with using Chicken Nuggets?
Who doesn't love crispy golden Ore-Ida French fries with some of your favorite Heinz Ketchup? These went really well with the Dino Nuggets for my boys, I enjoyed my fair share too. You can kick up your Ketchup a little too by making a Chipotle Ketchup with two easy ingredients.
Chipotle Ketchup
½ cup Heinz ketchup
1 tablespoon TABASCO® brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce
