I remember having Goulash a lot when I was growing up, but it’s not a dish that I make for my family very often because it wasn’t one of my favorites.
I tried making a new and delicious version that’s full of my favorite ingredients and I’m excited to say, everyone loved it! This Easy Goulash Recipe is a simple casserole that only takes minutes to put together!
How to Make Easy Goulash Recipe with Sausage
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Cooked Noodles (use whatever you have on hand)
- 1 Onion, diced
- 2 Cups Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles
- 2 (14.5 oz.) Diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 2 Cups Shredded Cheese
Instructions
Step 1 – Cooke your noodles until they are al dente
Step 2 – Dice The Onion
Step 3 – Mix together noodles, tomatoes, sausage, onion, chicken broth, garlic salt and 1 cup of shredded cheese
Step 4 – Pour the casserole into the dish and top with the last 1 cup of cheese
Step 5 – Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and enjoy!
You can also add corn, beans, or other veggies you in this casserole and top with Sour Cream or more cheese!
Add a side salad and you’ll have a complete meal ready to go!
By using the Jimmy Dean Crumbles this casserole is simple to put together and I have found that I love Goulash and have a new meal to make for the family.
My Mom used to make our Goulash Recipe with hamburger, but I really like using the sausage instead. It gives this meal some amazing flavor!
