Fall Four Fruit Crisp

Warm fruit crisp with a cool vanilla ice cream, this is my favorite dessert ever.  It just doesn’t get any better and this recipe has four fruits in it!  You’re going to love this version of fruit crisp so much you’ll want to plan on making it for Thanksgiving and Christmas too!  Check out the recipe below!

Mouthwatering Fall Four Fruit Crisp!

How to Make Four Fruit Fall Crisp

Ingredients:
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 1 gala apple
  • 1 bartlett pear
  • 2 plums
  • 1 3/4 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp orange Juice
  • 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp orange liqueur (optional)
  • 3/4 Truvia Baking Blend
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground Nutmeg
  • 1/3 tsp ground clove

Apple Crisp Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2  (12 Tbsp) chilled sweet cream butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Cut fruit into medium size chucks, with skin, core and seeds discarded.

3. In a large bowl with high sides combine apples, pears and plum with lemon juice, lemon zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, orange liqueur, sugar and spices. Mix well. Add to a large cast iron skillet and cook (stirring constantly) over medium heat until fruit begins to soften, about 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside.

4. In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment combine and mix the  all purpose flour, sugars, rolled oats, cinnamon, cold butter cut into small pieces and sea salt. Mix until mixture starts to form small bean size balls. Set aside.

5. In round 11″ stone deep pie dish (or similar pan) add the apple, pear and plum mixture. Add crisp topping and bake for 1 hour.

6. Serve warm.

How amazing does this look?  Grab your favorite ice cream or whip cream for the top and a little caramel drizzle and you’re set!  This mouthwatering dessert is going to be a new favorite!
