Green Bean Casserole with Cheddar Chip Topping

December 20, 2014   |   7 Comments

Disclosure: This Post is sponsored by Simply 7.

Green Bean Casserole is one of my favorite side dish recipes, whether it’s the Holidays or any time of the year.  My Mom grows and cans LOTS of green beans in the summer so I’m blessed to have a good amount on hand in my pantry to use in my casserole.

Since the Holiday season is in full swing and I’m taking food to all our gatherings, I thought I would change up my traditional Green Bean Casserole and add a little twist to it.

We tried some delicious Simply 7 Quinoa Chips last week that were an amazing snack for myself and my kids, but I got to thinking that the Cheddar Quinoa Chips would make a delicious crunchy topping on my Green Bean Casserole.  Check out the recipe below!

Your green bean casserole looks good with the added cheddar chip topping and the Simply 7 snacks sound like something that would be right up my alley! I’m trying to find better foods to snack on instead of the fatty sugary stuff!

This is great! We have a green bean casserole recipe we love, but it does take a bit of time to put together. Sometimes we just don’t have the time to make it. But this recipe looks so simple to throw together! And love that the topping is something a bit different!

This sounds so good! Green bean casserole reminds me of childhood dinners with all of my extended family. I love the addition of the quinoa chips! I bet they are so good as a topping!

I was so excited to see that these were made with some gluten free ingredients. I went gluten free over a month ago, and was so sad to think I couldn’t eat green bean casserole anymore! You totally made my day!
