Jenn’s Russian Tea Cakes

 I can’t believe we’ve come to the last week of our Christmas Sweets & Treats series with Quirky Inspired and Rodelle Vanilla!  We’ve had some delicious recipes over the weeks to share with you and today is no exception.

One of my favorite Christmas Cookies has always and will always be made by my best friend.  Jenn’s Russian Tea Cakes are one of those recipes that I look forward to when I know she’s making them and try as I might mine will never turn out as perfect as her’s!  I thought I would give it a try though and share her delicious recipe with you! Check it out as well as our other Christmas Cookies below!

 If I were you, I’d plan to make a couple batches of this recipes because they go fast!  Enjoy!

Delicious Easy to make Christmas Cookies: Russian Tea Cakes!

How to Make Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Cup Butter, Softened
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Rodelle Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • Powdered Sugar for Rolling

Instructions

Step 1 – Beat the Butter, powdered sugar and Rodelle Vanilla together in a stand mixer

Step 2 – Add the flour and salt to the butter mixture and mix well

Step 3 – Form 1 inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet, bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.  Be sure to pull them out of the oven at 7 minutes even if they look like they’re not finished baking!

Step 4 – Roll the Cookies in powdered sugar, you may want to do this twice!  Enjoy!
