Maple Brown Sugar Bacon with Pecans

October 26, 2014   |   1 Comment

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Truvia®.

Who here likes bacon?  Are you jumping up and down with your hand in the air?  Alright then, I have an amazing recipe for you today.  The inspiration for this recipe came from my fabulous trip to Lafayette this month where I had the opportunity to taste some of the most amazing food in the US.

There were so many different meals that stuck with me and show up in my dreams where I wake up drooling, ok that may be a lie or maybe not.  This Maple & Brown Sugar Bacon with pecan crunch is my version of the Praline Bacon that I had for breakfast one of the days of the trip.  I cannot tell you how amazing this stuff is and the photos do NOT do it justice.  You’re going to just have to make it for yourself, and make a BIG batch because it will go quick!

This Maple & Brown Sugar Bacon with Pecan Crunch is amazing warm from the oven.  It goes deliciously with Eggs Benedict or even an Egg Casserole.  I promise that you’re going to impress your friends and family with this delicious recipe!

I loved using  Brown Sugar Blend from  Truvia® in this recipe!  As you can see from the package it has 75% fewer calories than brown sugar without giving up any of the amazing flavor.  You can also find my Maple Brown Sugar Snickerdoodles that I made using the Brown Sugar Blend too! They are amazing!
