Mason Jar Salads

January 29, 2012   |   19 Comments

Have you seen these yummy looking salads over on Pinterest?  They are in Mason jars and you can make them up ahead of time and they keep good (not soggy) for up to 4 days!  Genius!!
Mason Jar salads
So, I gave it a try, and it works fabulous!  Give this a try!

Add you dressing to the bottom of the jar.  This is a Olive Oil Balsamic Vinaigrette, super yummy!

Then add your vegies.
I add my vegies in this order
Onions
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Spinach
When you are ready to eat, just shake it up and eat.  The trick is keeping the dressing away from the spinach so it doesn’t get soggy.
So easy and yummy!!

Looks wonderful…seen it on Pinterest and always wondered. Good to know it actually works! We seem to always have so much spinach on hand…this would be wonderful! Would be delighted for you to link up with us over at Mop it Up Mondays: http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/2012/02/mop-it-up-mondays-3.html.

I haven't seen this on Pinterest, but that is brilliant! I clicked over from Tip-Junkie! I'm on a diet and so many of the projects were sweets! I was grateful when I saw yours!
