I feel like summer is all about dips. Whether eating them poolside, at a friend’s barbecue, before a spread on the picnic table or at a birthday party, they are fun!
Nothing, in my opinion,s better than sinking my teeth into a dip, sweet or savory. In fact, why not just make them a meal? That would be fun, right?
This M&M Cake Batter Dip is a definite crowd pleaser. It only has five ingredients and that’s including the M&M’s! If you have a mixer, then you can whip it up in less than three minutes. Make it ahead or make it while the kids are itching to dive in while sitting at the table. Either way, it’s easy and delicious.
We used graham crackers and sliced apples as our dippers. Both equally good. In fact, I had to pull myself away from the bowl. But you know what else are good? Freshly sliced pears, bananas, Nilla wafers or pretzels.
And here’s the kicker.
This recipe uses just half of the devil’s food chocolate dry cake mix. So guess what? You have enough for another recipe down the road!
Or go ahead and just make a double match to start with….equally smart.
This dip is creamy and full of chocolate flavor. I remember when I was little and would come home from school and sometimes my mom would put chocolate frosting in between two graham crackers for a snack. It was the BEST.
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Yep. Spread this chocolate cake batter dip in between two graham crackers for your child’s next snack.
They’ll love you forever.
Better yet? Serve it at your next party. Watch people hover and devour it. Kid’s birthday party? Even better. Nothing gets the kid’s more excited than M&M’s!
