Refreshing Orange Julius Recipe

Do you remember having Orange Julius when you were a kid or maybe as an adult? It’s one of those refreshing drinks that I loved and to this day it’s still one of my favorites!

We have been making lots of milk shakes, smoothies and other fun drinks at our house to shake things up a little bit and my boys are loving it. It’s almost daily that they ask me to make them a fun drink so today I decided to make my favorite Orange Julius for them!

How to Make Orange Julius

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Orange Juice concentrate
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Cups Ice

Instructions

Step 1 – Put the milk, water, vanilla, orange juice concentrate, and sugar in the blender and blend for 30 seconds

Step 2 – Add the Ice and blend for another minute until the ice is chopped up

Step 3 – Pour into cups and serve

Be sure to add the ice to any smoothie or milkshake last.  If you put it in the blender first, it can stick together and jam up your blender.

The first time I made Orange Julius for my little guy, he said it tastes like orange sunshine.  I wanted to name the recipe this but thought it may confuse people, but it was still adorable!

This is such a refreshing drink during the summer months but even during the winter it’s a great treat too!
