Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
These are the BEST Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes that you will ever make! They're full of cheese, butter and garlic to give them a stand-alone flavor where you'll be able to skip the gravy!

Thanksgiving is almost here, I usually start working on my menu well in advance so that I can figure out how I'll make everything and have each side dish ready at the time of the meal.
It's not easy to cook 8 different things at once in the oven or on the stove so I use my slow cooker as much as I can for my meal. These slow cooker mashed potatoes are just one of the many things that I make in the slow cooker. They're so easy to make this way and they turn out great! You can find the recipe below!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
- 5 Pounds Russet Potatoes
- 1 Small Onion, Diced
- 1 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
- ½ Cup Sour Cream
- 8 Ounces Cream Cheese
- ½ Cup Butter
Cook the diced potatoes in a slow cooker on low along with the onion, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Cook for about 6 hours, the potatoes will absorb some of the chicken stock. Add the sour cream, cream cheese, and butter into the slow cooker with the potatoes. Using an electric mixer, whip the potatoes until they're smooth. Enjoy!
