Slow Cooker: Mushroom Steak and Rice

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you.  We have a great Slow Cooker Recipes Group on Facebook that’s full of amazing people with recipes to share.  This Mushroom Steak and Rice came from that group!  If you want to join us head over HERE and request to be part of the group!

This recipe became one of our favorites as soon as I made it the first time.  It’s simple and delicious!  Check it out below and if you like this recipe you may love our Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff!

Delicious and Simple Slow Cooker Mushroom Steak and Rice recipe!

How to Make Mushroom Steak and Rice

Ingredients You Need

  • 2 Pounds Beef Stew Meat
  • 1 Package Lipton Soup Onion Mushroom Mix
  • 1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 Cups Fresh Mushrooms
  • 1 Cup White Wine (I just use whatever I have on hand)
  • Rice

Instructions

Step 1 – I like to brown the stew meat slightly in a medium heat skillet with just a splash of Olive Oil before placing the meet in the slow cooker

Step 2 – Mix together the Lipton Soup Mix, Cream of Mushroom Soup, Mushrooms and wine in a bowl and pour over the stew meat in the slow cooker

Step 3 – Cook on low for 6 hours and serve over rice!

If you’re not  a big rice lover, this can be served over mashed potatoes too!  Delicious and Simple Slow Cooker Mushroom Steak and Rice recipe!

This is one of those recipes you’re going to want to make again and again, the gravy is amazing!  The leftovers reheat very nicely the next day for lunch too!
