Strawberry Spring Trifle Dessert #SLSweetTreats

Strawberries plus Angel Food Cake plus Whip Cream equals heaven in my book.  I love desserts like these that are light and fresh, honestly I would pick a Strawberry Spring Trifle Dessert over chocolate any day of  the week.  Weird?  Not when you taste how delicious this Sara Lee Angel Food Cake is and all you have to do is grab a couple ingredients to put this amazing dessert together, not a lot of cooking involved!

How to Make Strawberry Spring Trifle Dessert

Ingredients You Need

  • Sara Lee Angel Food Cake (Pick this up in the freezer section of the store)
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Whip Cream
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

This is going to be one of the easiest recipes you have ever put together, promise!

Step 1 – Cut up the Sara Lee Angel Food Cake into bite sized pieces and place in a large glass bowl or use individual cups like I did

Step 2 – Add a layer of Whip Cream over the cake

Step 3 – Add a layer of Fresh Strawberries next

Step 4 – Top with more cake and whip cream then sprinkles on top.  Enjoy!

If you don’t eat strawberries you could easily change them out with blueberries, raspberries, cherries, etc and you could add some chocolate sauce if you like to have chocolate in your desserts!

I love how convenient and easy it is to make a fancy looking dessert with products that are ready to go and require no baking.  How would you use a Sara Lee Angel Food cake?  I’m going to have a cake on hand from now on for those last minute desserts and company that we have, such a time saver too!
