Have you made all of your Valentine’s Day treat plans for Friday? We have a simple Valentine’s Day Chex Mix recipe that you will love! Not only is it simple to make but it’s a a sweet version Chex Mix instead of salty and what kids wouldn’t go for that?
I have made this recipe several times over the last few years and I’m always surprised how fast my boys snarf it down, it’s one of those treats you much away at without even realizing.
How to make Valentine’s Day Chex Mix
Ingredients you need
- 4 1/2 Cup Rice Chex Cereal
- 1/2 Cup Vanilla CandiQuik
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Sprinkles
- 1/2 Cup M&M’s
Instructions
Melt the peanut butter, CandiQuik and butter int he microwave for 1 and 1/2 minutes, stirring every thirty seconds until melted
Mix the peanut butter mixture in with your cereal and stir until well coatedMix half of the cereal with the powdered sugar until it is well coated
Mix the second half of the cereal with the M&M’s and sprinkles
Spread both mixtures out on wax paper until it is dry (about 15 minutes)
Mix everything together in one large bowl. Enjoy your Valentine Chex Mix!
This would be an excellent teachers Valentine’s Day gift if you’re looking for an idea! It’s simple and inexpensive but delicious and looks cute!

Such a cute idea for taking to my daughter's school……only problem is no peanut butter allowed, she has an allergic classmate. Any suggestions on what can be used instead of peanut butter? Would love to do something like this instead of candy!
