BLT Pasta Salad {Perfect for a Crowd}

July 5, 2016   |   3 Comments

With Memorial Day less than a week away, I thought I would share a salad that’s sure to be a hit at your BBQ’s and cook outs!  I hate to admit, when I made this today, I ate over half of it myself.  Yikes!  In my defense, I’m pretty sure that it’s ok because it has tomatoes and lettuce in it! I know, who am I kidding.

Honestly guys, it’s one of those recipes that people are going to ask you for and when you tell them how easy it is, they will be amazed! Promise!  Check it out below!

Step 2 – Cook the bacon will the pasta is boiling
Step 3 – Cut up the lettuce, tomato, onion and the cooked bacon
Step 4 – Mix the Italian and Ranch dressings together

I had to share this new Lettuce Knife that I got from Crisp with you.  It was obviously made for cutting lettuce and I could absolutely tell.  It cut through the lettuce like butter and made it so easy to get the sized pieces that I want!  Plus, isn’t it fun that it’s purple!  I love using pretty tools when I’m working in the kitchen and Crisp has been my go to because of all their awesome colors and how great the tools work!  Plus, at $7.99 – it’s a great deal too!

 Another one of my favorite tools is the Serrated Paring Knife.  It’s awesome for slicing tomatoes and great for dicing onions as well.  I used this little guy on all the other veggies in my salad.  It’s so handy!  I don’t know how I lived without it!  It’s a great deal too at just $14.99.  In fact all the tools over at Crisp are amazing and such reasonable prices.  Be sure to check them all out!

I know that traditionally, a BLT doesn’t have onion in it so if red onion isn’t your favorite this pasta salad is great without it too. I think what really makes the salad is the dressing!  It’s amazing!
