Disclosure: This post is being submitted as part of a
contest sponsored by Krusteaz for a chance to win prizes and that the entrant received free
products from Krusteaz.

I so excited to submit this Blueberry Donuts Recipe to the Krusteaz Blogger Bake-Off contest!  I decided to use the Gluten Free Blueberry
Muffin Mix to easily create this cute little recipe and since the holidays are coming soon – I added some festive Christmas sprinkles on top! Check out how easy they are to make!

How to Make Blueberry Gluten Free Donuts

To make these I used my Babycakes Doughnut Maker to make these.

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Box of Krusteaz Gluten Free Blueberry Muffin Mix
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 1/3 Cup Water

Instructions

Step 1 – Plug in the Doughnut Maker and let it warm up.

Step 2 – Mix together all ingredients in a medium bowl until it’s well mixed

Step 3 – Place the mixture in a Ziploc bag and cut the corner of the bag off

Step 4 – Grease both sides of of the Doughnut Maker

Step 5 – Squeeze enough batter into the bottom side of the machine to fill it completely

Step 6 – Close the machine and let them cook for a couple minutes before checking them, using a fork remove them from the Doughnut Maker carefully when they are browned.

Ingredients You Need for the Vanilla Glaze

  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Instructions

Step 1 – Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl, you may need to add more milk or powdered sugar to get to the consistency you desire

Step 2 – Dip the top of the Blueberry Donuts in the Vanilla Glaze and add sprinkles. Enjoy!

Great recipe! It worked perfectly & so easy to do! I added 1/4 cup maple syrup to the mix for added flavor. Then added a touch of (reserved) blueberry juice to the icing. My daughter & I loved them plain too!

I finally had to break down and get a donut pan so I could bake fresh donuts. It’s been so much fun. I have used Krusteaz products and like them quite well.
