Easy Appetizers: Pickle Dip Recipe

December 21, 2013   |   Leave a Comment

With the Holidays here and in full swing, I have a couple simple last minute appetizer and snack recipes to share with you.  This recipe has got to be one of my favorites, my friend Jen shared it with me years ago and I have been addicted ever since!

If you love Cream Cheese Pickle Rolls, this is going to rock your world because it’s the same flavors in a delicious dip with crackers!  This is a great little Christmas Eve or New Year Eve appetizer to make for friends and family.  Or with the Super bowl and other Bowl games right around the corner this would be a great game day appetizer to make.

How to Make Pickle Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Jar of Baby Kosher Dill Pickles
  • 12 oz. Deli Sliced Ham

Instructions

Step 1 – Have you cream cheese sit out to soften for 30 minutes

Step 2 – While your cream cheese is softening, dice up your ham and dill pickles into small bite sized pieces

Step 3 – Whip your cream cheese with a mixer until it is smooth and creamy

Step 4 – Stir the pickles and ham into the cream cheese until it is well combined

Enjoy this pickle wrap dip on Ritz crackers or even tortilla chips or if you’re weird like me, use a spoon and eat it straight out of the bowl (please don’t judge).

This is one of the easiest appetizers to make for a party and it always goes over extremely well.  I’m a huge dill pickle fan, so I could eat the entire bowl myself.  How can you co wrong with these three ingredients?

What appetizers and finger foods are you making this holiday or even for game day?
