We love popcorn during our family night movies and I love popcorn treats like this Fall Harvest Popcorn Mix. This yummy treat is very similar to our Cookies and Cream Popcorn easy recipe, it’s popcorn covered in Vanilla CandiQuik and our favorite fall treats mixed in.
I’m not a huge plain popcorn lover, but if you coat it in vanilla and add candy, of course I’m in love! This little treat would make a great Halloween snacks, party treat, favor or even a filler for this cute little Boo Bag’s that will start going around the neighborhood during October.
How to make Fall Harvest Popcorn Mix
- 1 bag of plain Microwave popcorn
- 1 package of Vanilla CandiQuik
- Fall M&M’s
- Chocolate Chips
- Candy Corn
- Candy Pumpkins
Step 1- Pop your bag of microwave popcorn according to package instructions.
Step 2 – Melt your package of Vanilla CandiQuik according to package instructions.
Step 3 – Place your popped popcorn in a large bowl and try to pick out any kernels that didn’t pop.
Step 4 – Mix in the M&M’s, candy corn and pumpkins.
Step 5 – Pour the melted CandQuik on top of the Popcorn mixture and mix everything together.
Step 6 – Spread the popcorn mixture out on wax paper to cool and harden before breaking it up and eating. I stored ours in a large Ziploc bag.
This is my favorite popcorn snack recipe, I love vanilla popcorn with candy treats mixed in. We have found that these type of Halloween Snacks don’t last long in our house .
