Can you believe that it’s September? The year has just flown by, the kids are back in school and Halloween is right around the corner which is one of our favorite times of year!
This year my little guy is in 5th Grade and it’s his last year of elementary having the big school party. They always have a parade through town in their costumes as well as a party afterwards with games and treats!
I’m one of those Mom’s that looks forward to making a fun treat for the kids. Something they will think is cool – like these Mummy Brownies! I ended up using our High Fiber Brownies recipe to make them a little bit better for the kids.
I’m not going to lie – they were simple to make but my kids were so impressed with them. This is the kind of treat that most of us Mom’s want to make.
I was thinking about having the Mummy Brownies for the treat but wasn’t sure what to give the kids as a drink. Certainly Pop was out of the question and I really wanted to find something that would hydrate them but was fun too. When I found the Nestlé® Pure Life® Share-a- Scare™ water – I knew it was the perfect pair to my brownies!
The cool thing about the Nestlé® Pure Life® Share-a- Scare™ water is that they are already decorated and ready for Halloween! There was even a Mummy bottle that went perfectly with the Mummy Brownies!
Available in 8 different Halloween-inspired designs, the NESTLÉ® PURE LIFE® “Share-A-Scare™” water bottles are the perfect addition to a classroom party, a neighborhood get-together, or a Day of the Dead celebration.
The company that brings you NESTLÉ® PURE LIFE® Purified Water has always been committed to making water as healthy hydration convenient for families by offering a variety of pack sizes, bottles and designs – from kid-friendly 8oz bottles to 20oz bottles perfect for mom and dad. I know that that 8oz. bottles end up being the perfect size for parties, lunch boxes and more when it comes to the kiddos.
In 2014, bottled water volume sales in U.S. supermarkets surpassed that of carbonated soft drinks, this is awesome because it’s showing that people are picking water over the the sugary alternative!
Drinking water is one of the biggest “healthy habit” struggles moms have with their kids (38%), even more than struggles like eating veggies, exercise or drinking milk!
Nearly 2 in 5 moms agree letting their child drink bottled water instead of out of a cup would help get their child to drink more water. My kids like to know how much they’re drinking so having it measured out by ounces in the bottles helps a lot.*

How to Make Mummy Brownies
Ingredients You Need
- 1 Batch of our High Fiber Brownies
- 1 Can of Vanilla Frosting
- Edible Eyes
Instructions
Make your High Fiber Brownies according to the post instructions.
After the brownies have cooled, frost with the Vanilla Frosting – leaving about a half cup of frosting back to pipe on the Mummy lines.
I put the remainder of the frosting into a plastic bag, cut the top off and piped on the lines.
Add the edible eyes last and enjoy!
