Garlic Homemade Matchstick Fries
Something we love around The Taylor House is French Fries and the saltier and crunchier the better! I've found that making homemade matchstick fries are so simple and they are delicious! You can season them with any flavoring that you want, I made some Garlic Matchstick Fries recently and they were gone in no time.

How to Make Garlic Homemade Matchstick Fries
Ingredients You Need
- 3-4 russet potatoes, scrubbed clean and dried
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- Sea salt + black pepper
- Garlic Powder
Instructions
Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Step 2 - Chop the potatoes into matchsticks
Step 3 - Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray
Step 4 - Place the fries on the cookie sheet and coat with the olive oil and toss with the salt and garlic powder
Step 5 - Spread the fries out on the cookie sheet
Step 6 - Bake for 35 minutes, tossing occasionally
Enjoy with ketchup or we love to use Ranch with ours.

These delicious salty fries make a great snack after school or side dish with dinner. I love how easy they are to make and my kids devoured them! Enjoy!

French fries and chocolate are the two foods that make me just weak in the knees. And the only thing better than fries is matchstick fries. Making these for myself for Mother's Day (how about a little alliteration?!)
