Grandma's Homemade Caramel Corn
The Holidays are right around the corner and something I'll always remember my Husband's Grandma making is Homemade Caramel Corn. Next to her homemade bread, this was my favorite thing that she made. It was always a treat and something that we looked forward to.
I decided that I'd give it a try and make some myself this year and it turned out amazing!! Check out the recipe below!

How to Make Grandma's Homemade Caramel Corn
Ingredients You Need
- 10 Cups Popcorn
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Light Syrup
- 2 Sticks Butter
- ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
- ¼ Teaspoon Cream of Tarter
Instructions
In a medium pan bring the brown sugar, syrup and butter to a boil.
Boil for 5 minutes.
Add the baking soda and cream of tarter.
Pour over the popcorn and mix until it well coated.
Place on a a cookie sheet and bake at 200 degrees for one hour. Stir occasionally.

A couple things I thought of with this Homemade Caramel Corn - it would be delicious with Pecans or even with chocolate drizzled over it. YUM!!
