Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Pops

Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles

The hot summer days have found us here in Iowa! We woke up one morning and it went from chilly to almost too hot to be outside! My boys are at the pool all day and asking for lots of ice cream, ice pops and all the cold treats they can think of!

We even made homemade Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles for the first time. The first version was so easy because it’s literally ONE ingredient. Then we tried another version with yogurt, which is almost as simple since it calls for just a handful of easy ingredients! You can make these yourself in no time!

I bought these little popsicle molds years ago, and they’ve sat in my cabinet and haven’t been used because I thought making ice pops would be so much harder than it really is! The cool thing about making your own popsicles is that you have complete control over the flavors and ingredients. I decided to use Florida’s Natural® Brand Lemonade with Strawberry! Florida’s Natural Lemonades are made with natural ingredients like real cane sugar, are never concentrated, and have no artificial ingredients or preservatives. The lemonade is super flavorful and refreshing on its own—so all I had to do was pour it into the molds and wait for it to freeze and I was done!

Not only can we enjoy the refreshing lemonade as a drink, but now I can make it into popsicles for my kids (and let’s be honest, for myself too!). I know we’ll be making a big batch of these for the holiday weekend ahead.

We also made delicious Strawberry Lemonade Yogurt Popsicles. These had a creamy deliciousness that we loved. These were also really easy to make and the recipe ingredients are things you may already have on-hand!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup Florida’s Natural® Brand Lemonade with Strawberry

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the yogurt, sugar, and lemonade, then fold in the strawberries. Pour the mixture into your popsicle molds. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until frozen through. Enjoy!

This is just a fun and refreshing treat for kids to enjoy during the hot days of summer. There are so many different ways to change up the yogurt popsicle flavors. You could use any type of berry in the ice pops. We love raspberry and blueberries in ours! Florida’s Natural also has regular and pomegranate lemonades, which would make delicious popsicles, too.

Something else that we think is really cool: Florida’s Natural provides funds to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which supports childhood cancer research.  Florida’s Natural is donating ALL of their profits from sales of the lemonade this summer to the Foundation!

And, if you’re looking for a delicious ADULT drink for the summer, be sure to check out our Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea recipe with Florida’s Natural Brand Lemonade with Iced Tea! It’s a super easy recipe to make!
