Lemon Garlic Roasted ChickPeas

June 3, 2015   |   Leave a Comment

The first time I made Roasted Chick Peas, I was so surprised by how easy they were and that I actually liked the taste!  I’m not much of a bean lover so it was a big surprise!  I haven’t made them again in a while but my boys asked me to make them as a snack so I thought I’d change up the flavor!

Today I have Lemon Garlic Roasted Chickpeas that were just as tasty as the first batch I made! I love the little hint of lemon they had, just a fresh tasting snack! I could easily eat the entire can of beans myself!  Check out how easy they are to make!

How to Make Lemon Garlic Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 can of Garbanzo Beans
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Salt (I added a pinch of Sea Salt too)

Instructions

Step 1 – Preheat oven to 450 Degrees

Step 2 – Drain and rinse your beans in a colander.  Let them dry on paper towels until most of the excess moisture is absorbed.

Step 3 – Spread the chickpeas out on a cookie sheet that’s covered with Silpat

Step 4 – Roast the chickpeas in the oven for 45 minutes or until the beans are crunchy throughout

Step 5 – Remove from the oven and immediately toss with olive oil, lemon juice,  garlic salt, and Sea Salt.  Enjoy right away or keep in an airtight container for a couple days.
