National Smores Day: Smores Cookies

August 10, 2013   |   10 Comments

It’s that time of the month again!  I have come together with several other amazing bloggers to bring you our recipe round up of the month.

This month we are focusing on National Smores Day!  Which is perfect for me because I LOVE to share Smores recipes here at The Taylor House!

For this months round up, I made a delicious Smores Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe that was loaded with tons of chocolate!

Smores Cookies

How To Make Smores Cookies

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (My Favorite Recipe)
  • Hershey’s Bars
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Chocolate CandiQuik

Instructions

Step 1 – Make your cookies according to My Favorite Recipe

Step 2 – Bake for about 8 minutes or until nearly done baking

Step 3 – Pull the cookies out of the oven and place the Hershey’s bar and Marshmallows on top

Step 4 – Place them back in the oven and finish baking

Step 5 – Drizzle the top of the cookies with melted CandiQuik and Enjoy!

These were delicious and loaded with lots of gooey melty chocolate that I know you will love!  My boys inhaled a dozen of these little goodies in a matter of minutes!

My 9 year old has a chocolate chip cookie memorized. I bet she would love the addition of the ingredients on top.
