Having Breakfast for dinner, also known as Breakfast After Dark, happens quite often at our house.  I mean, why not?  Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so having it multiple times is in one day is ok with me!

Having Breakfast After Dark doesn't mean that you have to have a bowl of cereal or even just a piece of toast and jelly.  There are so many recipes that you can use to make your meal a special and fun occasion.

After looking through the I Can't Believe it's Not Butter site for recipe options, I just couldn't commit, they all looked delicious.  So, I decided to make my own Breakfast After Dark meal, I decided to do a play on a regular Grilled Cheese Sandwich by making a Sausage and Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwich.  This sandwich turned out to be one of my favorites, it was so good!

If you need some additional breakfast for dinner creation inspiration, Lisa Vanderpump from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is the new Breakfast After Dark spokesperson. She has some hilarious web series on the I Can't Believe it's Not Butter website.

Sounds wonderful. I am sure my boys would love it. Question tho, do you cook the eggs before putting them between the bread or ...?
I am worried about the egg being fully cooked.
