Have you tried making Slow Cooker Apple Crisp yet? It’s one of those desserts that just scream fall and I found that making it in the slow cooker is super easy and delicious! There’s just a couple steps involved and after a couple hours your house smells amazing and you have a fabulous dessert that your family will love!
This is a great way to make desserts for Thanksgiving and Christmas too! Just throw the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it go! Check out how easy it is and how amazingly delicious it looks!
How to Make Slow Cooker Apple Crisp
Ingredients You Need
- 6 Medium Apples (Tart), peeled and sliced
- 2/3 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 2/3 Cup Flour
- 2/3 Cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup Butter
Step 1 – Place the sliced apples in the bottom of the slow cooker
Step 2 – Mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar, seasonings and cut in the butter to make a crumbly mixture
Step 3 – Pour the mixture over the apples
Step 4 – Place paper towels over the top of the slow cooker and then the lid, the paper towels will absorb the condensation without it making the crisp runny
Step 5 – Cook on low for 4 hours, top with ice cream and enjoy!
What do you think? Looks like the perfect fall dessert if you ask me! With all the apples that are available now, I’m going to be making this a lot because it’s so stinking easy!
What other desserts have you made in your slow cooker? I’d love to make these more often for my family!
