This Slow Cooker Sausage Tortellini Soup is going to knock your socks off, it’s my new favorite soup! I didn’t realize that I loved sausage as much as I do, but the Jimmy Dean Crumbles that I used in this recipe are amazing and made this an A+ recipe at our house.
We love our slow cooker soup recipes and this is going into our regular rotation of recipes to make each month during the fall and winter months. I hope you give it a try!
How to Make Slow Cooker Sausage Tortellini Soup
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Cup Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles
- 1/2 Cup Diced Red Pepper
- 1 Small Onion Diced
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley
- 1/2 Teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1 Cups Frozen Cheese Tortellini
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
Step 1 – Place the Chicken Broth and heavy whipping cream in the slow cooker
Step 2 – Cut up the onion, red pepper, mushrooms and parsley and mix into the slow cooker
Step 3 – Add the Jimmy Dean Crumbles and garlic salt to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours
Step 4 – 30 Minutes prior to eating add the frozen Cheese Tortellini to the slow cooker. Before serving sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and Enjoy!

I loved using the Jimmy Dean Crumbles in this soup, it made it simple to make and I didn’t have to dirty another pan to cook the sausage in because it was already ready to go! I can think of so many different ways to use these in my cooking and recipes!
