What You’ll Need To Make Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Ice Cream:
To make this ice cream you’ll need the Ninja Creami. The Ninja Creami offers a variety of ways to make delicious ice cream. I used whole milk for this recipe, but you can use alternative kinds of milk or yogurt.
How To Make Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Ice Cream:
What I love most about this recipe is that it’s so simple! Simply combine all the ingredients in a container and freeze. To combine the mixture I use an electric whisk or handheld milk frother. A whisk or fork would work too! After combining the ingredients in the ninja creami container, freeze the mixture for at least 8 hours. I typically stick mine in the freezer overnight for use the next day! When you’re ready to make your ice cream, leave it out on the counter for about 15 minutes before putting it into the ninja creami. This will allow it to thaw slightly. I typically add a splash of milk and respin the ice cream once or twice if it’s not soft and creamy enough.
Sweetener:
For this recipe, I used a liquid monk fruit sweetener– but you can use any other type of sugar or sweetener. I’ve used maple syrup before and it tastes delicious! The amounts will vary depending on the type of sugar or sweetener you use- I typically just go off of taste!
Storage:
You can refreeze the ice cream if you don’t finish it!
Mix-Ins:
My favorite thing about this ice cream is it’s good with a variety of mix-ins! I’ve added fruit, chocolate chips, brownie chunks, etc. If you’re looking for inspiration check out our triple chocolate brownie, fudge brownie, and our buttermilk caramel syrup.

Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Ice Cream
Equipment
- 1 Electric whisk
Ingredients
- 2 cups Whole Milk
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 2-3 tsp Liquid Monk Fruit Sweetener
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in the ninja creami container. I use an electric whisk (or handheld milk frother) for this process. However, a fork or whisk would probably do the trick too.
- Place the mixture in the freezer for at least 8 hours.
- Once the mixture has frozen, leave it out on the counter for about 15 minutes before mixing it in the Ninja Creami. I mix it on the ice cream setting, and I will typucally respin it once or twice if it's not to my desired creamyness. You can also add a splash of milk before I respin it if needed.
- Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
