Triple Chocolate Brownies from Scratch

The best ooey gooey delicious Triple Chocolate Brownies from Scratch, this is my little cousin's recipe and it's hands down one of the best around and she's only 11!! That means if she can make these, I'm pretty sure you can too! This recipe can be used when you make our Cocoa Puff Brownies too!

When an 11-year-old tells you they love to bake and cook what do you do? Ask to try one of her recipes, of course! My cousin Grace has some mad skills in the kitchen and this recipe is proof of that. It's one of the most ooey gooey deliciously chocolate brownies from scratch that I've ever made and of course, I wanted to share it will you guys!

In my opinion, once you make brownies from scratch you have a hard time going back to a boxed brownie. I mean, they're really good too and when you're in a hurry they are delicious but if you have the time to make your own - do it! Brownies from scratch are the way to go!

Triple Chocolate Brownies from Scratch

How to Make Triple Chocolate Brownies from Scratch

Ingredients You Need

  • ½ Cup Butter, melted
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ⅓ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • ½ Cup Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ Cup Chocolate Chips

Start by mixing the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a medium bowl until they are well combined. Next, mix in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spread the brownie mixture into an 8x8 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Top with homemade frosting or a store bought frosting!  Enjoy!

CHOCOLATE FROSTING FROM BROWNIES

Ingredients You Need

1 ½ Cup Milk Chocolate Chips

½ Cup Heavy Cream

1 tsp Vanilla

I use a glass bowl and microwave all ingredients together for 30 second periods until it's smooth. Be sure NOT to overheat or the chocolate will seize up and you'll end up throwing it away!

Chocolate Frosting for Brownies

We love to use our brownies in ice cream sundaes, we start by placing a triple chocolate brownie in the bottom of a bowl and topping it with vanilla ice cream, chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, or whatever your favorite toppings are! It's the best dessert!

    My Mom has baked for YEARS and they did not come out ooey gooey! More cakes and thinner...she didn’t cost because of my sugars... She is 80 & followed directions to a T... using only the best flour & other ingredients... Sorry...
