5 Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

These little 5 ingredient chocolate chip cookies are not only adorable but easy to make too.  I was able to put them together and bake 4 dozen cookies while I was making dinner.  They came out so pretty and tasted delicious.  If really doesn’t get any easier than a 5 ingredient cookie.  Right?

These chocolate chip cookies have more of a short bread texture and almost melt in your mouth when they’re warm.  Be sure to check out our traditional Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe if that’s what you’re looking for!

How to make 5 Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients You Need

  • 1 Cup of butter, softened
  • 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Step 1 – Beat the butter and powder sugar with an electric mixer on high until fluffy

Step 2 – Add the vanilla and mix well

Step 3 – Gradually mix in the flour a small amount at a time

Step 4 – Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips

Step 5 – Form into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on a greased pan

Step 6 – Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes

Step 7 – Melt the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips that are left and drizzle over the cookies.  Enjoy!

Aren’t these the most adorable little cookies?  They go perfectly with coffee or tea so be sure to make a batch the next time you’re entertaining friends and have them over for coffee!  It doesn’t get any easier than a 5 ingredient chocolate chip cookies when it comes to baking since you have no eggs, no baking soda, etc.

    I made a half batch and drizzled with melted white chips. These are very light, delicate cookies. I wish I had flattened them some before baking. My half batch yielded 2 dozen.
