My youngest guy is kind of a french fry snob, he knows a good fry vs. a bad fry in one little bite. He's always wanting to make our own homemade baked french fries from home because he has control over the seasoning and crispness of the fries.

This week he even made them on his Facebook Live cooking show along with our delicious Fry Sauce and everyone loved it!

One of our go to products that we use at our house is French's ketchup and mustard. Especially during the summer, I like to stock up and have it on hand because of the amount of burgers and hot dogs that we eat! It's one of those products that we've grown to know and trust.

How to Make Homemade Baked French Fries

Ingredients You Need

  • 4-6 Russet Potatoes washed & cut into wedge pieces
  • 4 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Seasoning Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese (optional)

Instructions

Start by washing and cutting your potatoes into wedge pieces, we like them larger but you can make them small if you prefer. Try to keep the size consistent so they all bake the same. Next, soak the potatoes in warm water for 30 minutes. When you remove them from the water, dry them well and remove as much of the water as you can. Pour 2 tablespoon of the Olive Oil on a baking sheet and the other two in a bowl with the potatoes and mix them to coat them well with the oil. Spread them out on the baking sheet and cover with the seasoning salt and parmesan cheese if you want. Bake them at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

How to Make Homemade Fry Sauce

Ingredients You Need

  • ½ Cup French's Tomato Ketchup
  • ½ Cup Mayo

Mix them together and use as a dipping sauce for your Homemade Baked French Fries.
