Honey Orange Glazed Chicken is a little sweet with just a touch of sriracha sauce to give it some heat. Â This makes the perfect meal for your family and has amazing flavor!
The Holidays left us all too quickly and after two months of eating amazing meals, cookies, candies and enjoying delicious cocktails I’ve found that I gained a little more weight than I would have liked.
I love food and I love trying new food that tastes amazing! So, to be honest, the thought if trying to diet or cut calories gives me a little bit of anxiety. I cannot imagine eating meals with no flavor or cutting out those extra recipes that I make just because they sound good and I want to give it a try.
This year, I’ve decided to make it my goal to make at least one healthier recipe a week, using strategies like cutting out butters and creams, using other ingredients to give these recipes some flavor. That’s where this Honey Orange Glazed Chicken recipe comes in. I was able to make a glaze using Florida’s Natural® Brand Orange Juice and some honey to give it a sweet coating that everyone loved!
Over the last year, we’ve been lucky enough to partner with Florida’s Natural on several different recipes including our Vodka Lemonade Iced Tea and Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Ice Pops.
Even though we drink Florida’s Natural Orange Juice with No Pulp all the time, this is the first we’ve created a recipe using it! I love that it gives the exact flavor of hand-squeezed orange juice but with so much less work!
How to Make Sriracha Honey Orange Chicken
Ingredients You Need
- 4 Chicken Breasts
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Cup Florida’s Natural Orange Juice
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 1/4 Cup Sriracha Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic, minced
Start by adding salt and pepper your chicken breasts on both sides.
Next, brown your chicken breasts on the stovetop over medium heat, I placed them in a pan and flipped them over once to brown each side nicely.
While the chicken breasts are browning create the glaze by pouring the orange juice, honey, sriracha sauce and garlic into a medium pot and bring to a boil.
Turn down to low heat and let it cook down for about 30 minutes or until it’s a glaze-like consistency.
Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish (or if your pan can go in the oven just use that) and spread a layer of the glaze over each breast.
Continue to cook in the oven at 375 until the breasts are cooked through. You can add more glaze to the chicken breasts halfway through cooking if you desire!
This recipe could easily be made in the slow cooker too. If you make it in the slow cooker, place all the ingredients in and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Use a spoon and pour the cause over the chicken breasts every hour or so.
How to Make an Easy Citrus Dressing
Ingredients You Need
- 1/4 Cup Oil, I use Olive
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
- 1/4 Cup Florida’s Natural Orange Juice
- 2 tsp Honey
- Zest from Orange
Place all the ingredients in a Mason Jar or Dressing shaker and mix well before pouring over your salad.
I use this Dressing Shaker, It’s got a metal blender ball inside to whisk, and an easy pour spout that closes so you can whisk between each pour. It’s especially nice for this dressing because it helps the honey mix in really nicely. I love using this bottle for homemade dressing!
I had originally intended to grill the chicken and add the glaze as I was cooking the chicken breasts, but with temperatures in the -30’s here in Iowa that wasn’t a great option. I cannot wait to make it this summer on the grill though! If you live in warmer areas this could be a great option for you now!

While I am not a meat eater, this looks really good and easy to make!
I think my husband would absolutely love this recipe! He is all about siracha!
I’ve never thought to use actual orange juice in honey orange chicken recipe. Who knew?! We love Asian dishes in our home and this would be a great one to try.

I prefer no pulp orange juice myself so your Floridas Naturals carton caught my attention. We have to make Chinese style dishes ourselves at home because of food allergy contamination issues at most restaurants so I always discovering a good diy recipe. Appreciate the easy to follow layout of your recipe. Looking forward to trying it out!

These both sound like yummy recipes. I like the combination of flavors, with the orange and Sriracha. I would love to try the dressing too, helps to have some good salad dressings in the New Year to motivate me to eat more salad 🙂
This sounds like such a yummy and flavorful way to spice up chicken breasts. Sometimes I get so tired making the same old chicken but at the same time, so I am excited to add this to my cooking binder!
That sounds so yummy and not too difficult to make. I’m not a big cook so I look for recipes that are easy.
Hands up I am a chicken person and I am always up for trying different chicken meals and this one sounds absolutely delicious, love the idea of using honey and orange
This is an exciting flavor profile. I think the orange juice would be a little sweet and of course, you’ve got the heat! I think this would be good on shrimp, too.
I knew I was in trouble when I saw the title of this. That itself sounded yummy but the photos had my tummy growling. The recipe has such easy items, I feel like I could make this fairly quickly and pack some for luuch at work!
Wow, this really does look amazing! I love the flavors of citrus and chicken together.
This honey orange glazed chicken sounds really good. I’m on the fence about sriracha. Not from the heat, but the taste. I’m used to salsa, picante sauce and hot sauce. I wouldn’t turn down a taste though.
That Citrus Salad Dressing looks good. I’ve never made it with orange juice. I always use the juice of an orange but using orange juice would be so much better and not as messy.

I bet this is delicious! I love orange chicken and I really like Florida’s Natural Orange Juice too.
We enjoy orange chicken and adding some heat to it sounds really great. Add some rice and fresh vegetables and we are all set.
