Lemon Rice Krispies Treats

This Lemon Rice Krispies Treats may not sound a bit different but if you’re a lemon lover, like I am, these are going to be amazing.  I love any and every Lemon desserts, we’ve had everything from lemon brownies to lemon bars.  I could eat an entire pan of most lemon desserts myself.

These Lemon Rice Krispies are a very light spring or summer treat idea, and if you don’t like lemon you can easily replace with which ever flavor is your favorite!

How to Make Lemon Rice Krispies Treats

Ingredients You Need

  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Bag Marshmallows
  • 1 Package Lemon Jello Mix
  • 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

Step 1 – Grease a 9×13 pan with butter and set aside

Step 2 – Melt the butter and marshmallows in the Microwave for 45 seconds

Step 3 – Stir the butter and marshmallows together and add the jello and lemon juice, mix well

Step 4 – Add the Rice Krispies and mix until they are well combines

Step 5 – Use a spatula and press the mixture into the greased pan.

Step 6 – Cool, cut and enjoy!

    Thank you for the yummy twist on Rice Krispie Treats. I made theses yesterday along with a regular batch for a BBQ. The Lemon were devoured within minutes of being set–out.
