Welcome back to Souper Sunday and our Crockpot Chicken Noodles soup recipe here at The Taylor House! If this is your first time checking out our recipes, let me tell you a little about our series.
Every Sunday we have a new slow cooker soup recipe to share with you through the fall and winter months. This is our third week, we have already shared a Slow Cooker Cheeseburger Soup and a Slow Cooker Taco Soup recipe in the last few weeks. All three of these recipes have been simple and delicious, definitely recipes we will keep in our menu plan rotation.
How to Make Crockpot Chicken Noodles
Ingredients
- 8 Cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 Cup Carrot
- 1 Cup Celery
- 1 Cup Onion
- 1 Garlic Clove, minced
- 4 teaspoons salt
- 4 Chicken Breasts baked and diced up
- 1 bag of Alphabet Noodles (I found mine in the near the Chinese type of sauces and foods in the store)
Instructions
Step 1 – Bake your chicken breasts until they are fully cooked, I sprinkled seasoning salt on my chicken before I baked it. Dice it up into cubes after it has cooked.
Step 2 – Mix all the vegetables, chicken and broth, soup and seasonings together in the slow cooker (everything but the noodles). Cook everything on low for 6 hours.
Step 3 – 30 minutes before you are ready to eat, add the noodles into the slow cooker. This just helps them stay in shape and not get all mushy in the pot.
One of my little tricks to delicious crockpot Chicken Noodles is adding the can of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup, it really makes a difference in the flavor! We love it!
Serve the soup with a crusty bread like our Dutch Oven Bread and enjoy! I’ve never tried freezing the leftovers so I’m not sure how that would work but I know it’s delicious eating the next couple days out of the fridge!
Crockpot Chicken Noodles is an easy recipe to throw in when you’re not feeling the best too, when I have a cold or flu, I always enjoy a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup!
I can’t wait to share a homemade teacher gift with you that uses these adorable little alphabet noodles that’s perfect as a Christmas gift!
