I cannot believe that today is the last day of August! Summer flew by and boy did we have fun! Early in the year we decided to buy a camper to use during the summer and fall months. It was by far one of the best decisions we’ve made and the memories that we’ve made camping will last a lifetime.
Heading into fall it’s sad to think about putting the camper away for the year so we’ve decided to make our camping last longer and instead of packing our shorts and t shirts we’ll just pack sweatshirts and pants and make the best of the chilly fall weather.
Besides just being outside and spending time with the family, one of my favorite parts of camping is making delicious campfire food. Back in May we had our first Crawfish Boil while we were camping that will be a yearly tradition from now on. It was a blast! My boys love to find new Campfire Dessert Recipe Ideas to make each time – I think that brownies over the fire are they absolute favorite!
Something I like to do is make Foil Packets over the fire because they’re really easy to put together and the clean up is a breeze! Recipes like this Sausage and Potato Hash that’s full of cheesy and our favorite Johnsonville Brats make the perfect meal out camping! Make our Tin Foil Grilled Peaches along with this recipe and you’ll have a meal your family will never forget!

Yum! Yum! I love potato hash and sausage but I’ve never tried having both in one dish. Thanks for the recipe! I’m excited to make it.
This looks like such a delicious, satisfying meal. This would be perfect for camping trips since it’s made in foil.
