January 26, 2014   |   3 Comments

Do you make a lot of spaghetti, lasagna and other pastas that garlic bread goes well with?  We have a delicious Cheesy Garlic Bread Knot recipe to share with you today that only takes 30 minutes to make.  If making your own homemade bread and rolls is scary or you shy away from because of the length of time you need to make a batch, this recipe is perfect for you!

Don’t be scared of trying bread recipes because they use yeast, they really aren’t as hard as you think.  After you get it figured out, you’ll whip up recipes like these Garlic Bread Knots all the time.  I found the original recipe for this over at I Heart Eating and then changed it to fit my preferences.

The rolls were fantastic and soooo easy to make. Shall try with different toppings and maybe brush with egg yolk or milk for a little colour? Mine were quite pale. Thanks again.

You know, I mix a teaspoon of baking soda into a tablespoon of water then lightly brush that on top of my rolls when I want them to have that rich brown color. That is a secret trick of the trade from when I was a pretzel roller in high school.

I am glad you enjoyed the rolls Susan! Thanks for stopping by!
