Chocolate Mint Oreo Cupcake Recipe

Today I have an delicious Chocolate Mint Oreo cupcake recipe to share with you. It's such an easy recipe and is geared towards those of you who love to bake simple while still create adorable little treats.
This is a Chocolate Mint Oreo cupcake recipe, which means there is lots of chocolate and mint. I love anything with mint and chocolate, they are my favorite flavors.
My boys loved the last Oreo Cupcakes that I made so I decided to create a different flavor combination in this Oreo cupcake recipe and since chocolate and mint are my favorite, I started there.
What makes this Oreo cupcake recipe even better is that it is made from a boxed cake mix and jar of frosting. So, anyone can make these adorable little cupcakes.
I know that baking from scratch is not what everyone loves to do, so I am going to be sharing more semi made from scratch recipes along with my other recipes. Enjoy!
How to make my Chocolate Mint Oreo Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Cake Mix (or similar) & Ingredients to make
- 1 Can Vanilla Frosting
- 2 teaspoon Peppermint flavoring
- 1 Package of Cool Mint Oreos
Directions
- Bake cupcakes according to the directions on the Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Cake Mix package.
- Mix 2 teaspoon Peppermint flavoring into the container of Vanilla Frosting.
- After cupcakes have cooled, top with frosting and 1 Cool Mint Oreo.

These are so easy to make and can be used for many different occasions like St. Patrick's Day, Christmas, Spring or just a fun party for any occasion. 
Another way to make these fun would be to add some green food coloring to the frosting so that you have green frosting! I think this would be a great treat idea for St. Patty's Day!
